Georgia born and raised, Trey Teem began this journey listening to that vibe of soulful music where Southern Rock was born, Macon Georgia. These days Trey rarely misses an opportunity to take the stage anywhere and show you what this country boy is made of. In late 2016, Trey kicked the music industry door wide open with his entry into the NASH NEXT competition on 99.1 WDEN, Macon. Trey was selected as one of the TOP 10 National Finalists by Cumulus Media in the NASH Next Challenge 2016. The talent search and artist development program enlisted a celebrity panel, including Scott Borchetta, Kix Brooks, Jay DeMarcus and Danielle Bradbery, to whittle the finalists. On the line was a recording contract with Big Machine Label Group, their original song produced by DeMarcus, and national radio airplay on Cumulus Media radio stations across the U.S. "Tonight's Waitin on Us", received air-play on country radio stations as well as syndicated national radio shows that feature new up-and-coming country artists. 2016 Accolades: NASH NEXT 2016 National Finalist NASH NEXT Local Winner for WDEN 99.1 Macon Georgia Music Awards Country Male Vocalist of the Year Nomination Georgia-Country Male Vocalist of the Year Nomination IMEA Male Country Artist of the Year Nomination “Tonight’s Waitin’ on Us”, 10 weeks airplay on Back Yard Country, Atlanta and Macon. 2017 promises to be even more exciting!
